Description: Lockheed Martin ARISE Analytics - Applications team is seeking a full-stack software engineer with demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-first web applications. To succeed, the candidate must have a broad skillset that spans both UX design and backend development, as their responsibilities call for complete end-to-end development of the web application's features: from defining requirements to testing and deployment. The candidate is expected to be proficient in Python and JavaScript. It is desirable that the candidate have experience designing and implementing scalable, high-availability applications. The ARISE Analytics team works closely with A/AI Research engineers, so a working understanding of Machine Learning principles is desirable. Candidates applying to this position should have a Bachelors degree, or greater, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or an equivalent field with significant software development experience. Basic Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Must have application/front-end development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong knowledge of front-end design patterns optimized for web.
- Experience with back-end technologies (Django, Node.js).
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Database expertise (MongoDB, SQL, or similar).
- Ability to obtain interim secret security clearance to start. Must be a US Citizen.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of security best practices.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
