About Quest Health Remote Care

Quest Health Remote Care is a virtual-first clinical practice built around diabetes management. We serve a large, growing population of patients managing diabetes, delivering continuous, longitudinal care through remote patient monitoring and telehealth — an ongoing clinical relationship supported by data, coaching, and a multidisciplinary team.

Our model pairs licensed clinicians with a support team of medical assistants and health coaches, so patients are supported between visits, not only during them. The clinician sets the care plan; the team helps the patient live it.

The Role

We are hiring multistate-licensed physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs) to provide direct virtual care to our diabetes patients. Your core work is to assess each patient, confirm that Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) is clinically appropriate for them, and establish the physician–patient relationship that anchors enrollment and ongoing care. From there, you interpret glucose data, make treatment decisions, and manage patients in the RPM program over time.

A support team of medical assistants and health coaches handles daily monitoring and routes in-person needs back to each patient's own primary practice, so your work is focused on clinical decisions. You'll work closely with our Medical Director to build and refine your approach to diabetes care — so deep prior diabetes expertise isn't required, just sound clinical judgment and a willingness to learn. You retain full, independent clinical judgment over your patients' care. Minimum commitment is 12 hours per week, with room to grow your panel.

What You'll Do

• Conduct telemedicine assessments to confirm RPM is clinically appropriate and establish the physician–patient relationship.

• Enroll eligible patients into the RPM program, setting monitoring parameters and care goals.

• Work with our Medical Director to develop and strengthen your diabetes care.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the practice's EHR, coding each encounter correctly.

The RPM Program

Remote Patient Monitoring is central to how we practice. Patients are enrolled with connected glucose devices, weight scales or potentially other connected devices; the support team monitors daily readings and identifies meaningful patterns.

Engagement Details

• Status — Independent contractor (1099). You are responsible for your own taxes and are not eligible for employee benefits.

• Commitment — Minimum 12 hours per week, flexible scheduling, with capacity to grow your panel over time.

• Location — Fully remote within the United States, over our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

• Compensation — Hourly compensation, structured around state licensure and availability

• Malpractice — Quest provides claims-made professional liability insurance and tail coverage..

Who You Are

Required

• Active, unrestricted U.S. license as a physician (MD/DO), nurse practitioner (APRN), or physician assistant. Florida licensure required at minimum; multistate licensure strongly preferred (10+ states a major advantage).

• Board certified or board eligible (physicians), or nationally certified (NPs via AANP or ANCC; PAs via NCCPA), and in good standing.

• NPs and PAs practice within their state scope of practice and, where a state requires it, under a collaborative or supervisory arrangement with a physician — which Quest coordinates through its physician network.

• Comfort practicing in a fully virtual environment.

• Providers are expected to maintain working equipment (ex. computer, headset, camera, internet)

Preferred

• Clinical background in diabetes management, endocrinology, or primary care with significant experience in diabetes.

• Hands-on experience interpreting CGM and BGM data and managing insulin and non-insulin therapies.

• Prior experience with RPM, chronic care management, or other longitudinal virtual care programs.
