OB Hospitalist - Director Opportunity - Pensacola
As part of the Ob Hospitalist clinical team, an Ob Hospitalist embraces delivering a quality OB Hospitalist program Value-Based culture. OB Site Director Role:
- Program Operations to ensure quality care is delivered
- Building and maintaining relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing staff and administrative leadership
- Maintaining relationships with the physician and CNM Ob Hospitalist team
- This position reports to a Market Medical Director (MMD), Medical Director of Operations (MDO) or Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO)
- Will collaborate with the MMD, MDO or VPCO to ensure the clinical team is delivering a quality program that achieves both OBHG's and the hospital's clinical and operational objectives
- Director of Ob Hospitalists is also expected to travel to the hospital as needed to address hospital and hospitalist operational priorities
- Train & develop new clinicians in the Value-Based culture
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectations
- Manage minor physician issues and escalate to the MMD, MDO or VPCO as appropriate
- Collaborate with hospital leadership, MMD, MDO or VPCO and DOO to identify ways to increase hospital Labor and Delivery utilization
- At least five (5) 24-hour (or equivalent) OB hospitalist shifts each 28-day period

- Board Certified Ob/Gyn Physician
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of assigned site
- Highly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with all stakeholders (Hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and OBHG corporate staff)
- Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care (preferred)
