We are seeking a Chief Officer for a Chemical Tanker with stainless steel and zinc tanks. The trade area includes the US (Gulf of Mexico), Panama, and South America. Crew composition consists of Baltic/FSU officers and ratings.

Wages: 10,100 USD + 400 USD performance bonus + 400 USD re-joining bonus + 1,000 charterer bonus (CBA 1% / 2% deduction applicable).

Joining: End of March / beginning of April 2016.

Office Visit: Mumbai office visit required.

Interview Process:

1. Verbal interview via Skype
2. Interview with Superintendent from Mumbai via Skype
3. Interview with Technical Superintendent from Singapore via Skype
4. In-house training via Skype (4-6 days, 2-3 hours per day)

As an example, below is the in-house training schedule for TOP/Junior Officers:

1. Monday/Tuesday – 27th to 28th July – SMS-Advanced
2. Wednesday – 29th July – Marine Accident Investigation course
3. Thursday – 30th July – Planned Maintenance System
4. Friday – 31st July – US Pollution
5. Saturday – 1st August – Risk assessment and management

Additional Requirements:

1. Marlins Online (if you have a copy of Marlins, no need)
2. CES online (if you have a copy of CES, no need)
3. Psychometric test online
4. Online ECDIS Transas 4000 course (for deck officers only)
