Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Randstand is looking for a lead stand up forklift operator for a company on the Southside of Jacksonville. You will work Monday through Friday, either 8 am to 6 pm. You will need to have recent and verifiable sit-down and stand-up forklift experience. Key responsibilities include performing pre-operation inspections of the forklift, following all safety regulations, maintaining a clean work environment, and keeping accurate records of all materials moved.

salary: $18 - $23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading: Operate a stand up forklift to load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles. 5 years of standup forklift experience is required.

• Material transport: Move inventory and materials across a facility, such as to and from production areas, storage, and loading docks.

• Staging and storage: Stack, unstack, and organize materials like boxes, crates, and pallets in designated storage areas.

• Inventory management: Maintain accurate records of all materials moved, including updating inventory lists, tracking shipments, and conducting quality checks.

• Safety and maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in safe working order, report any issues, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 4 hours at one time
