Clinical Operations Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for managing all tasks related to the clinical operations department. The Clinical Operations Manager will oversee daily departmental operations, including employee scheduling, PTO/payroll, and candidate interviews. Manages clinical request turnaround times, departmental projects, reporting, and key documentation. Supports QA activities, SharePoint maintenance, and business requests, ensuring efficient workflows in a healthcare or managed‑care setting.

This role is required on-site in Bonita Springs Florida. Remote and hybrid work schedule are not available at this time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily scheduling of employee tasks
• PTO management as well as payroll approval
• Conduct interviews for open positions
• Monitoring turnaround times on clinical requests
• Manage department projects including implementation overrides and proactive clinical requests
• Update and maintain internal prior authorization forms and notice of decision letters
• Conduct departmental, interdepartmental, and employee meetings
• Generate monthly billing reports
• Create/update process desktops and frameworks
• Generate Cognos reports
• Complete incident reports
• Submit business requests and mantis requests as well as complete user acceptance testing
• Manage department SharePoint page
• Department Test Complete scripts and batch job oversight/QA
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent degree is required
• 1–2 years proven experience managing direct reports is required
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or managed care industry required
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with a strong focus on Excel
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and use various systems efficiently
• Knowledge of reporting and analytics is needed to be successful
