With nine distribution centers and roughly 500 branches worldwide, they are a global strategic partner who efficiently and consistently supports customers’ operations, wherever they are located.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day support including phone handling, correspondence, filing, inventory, and general office coordination. The ideal candidate works well independently, has strong grammar and editing skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Job Description
- Ability to work independently, possess excellent grammatical and editing skills, be detail-oriented, and take initiative when necessary
- Should demonstrate resourcefulness and a desire to learn
- Professional demeanor and intermediate software skills (Word, Excel) are required
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering a multi-line phone
- Preparing outgoing courier and overnight packages
- Coordinate mailings
- Maintaining files/filing
- Taking inventory and placing orders
- Preparing correspondence
- Providing overall administrative support
Skills Required
- Inventory Experience
- Microsoft Office skills
- Able to coordinate events and business calendars, process inventory, help plan travel/food/other for visiting associates to the branch
- The ideal candidate will have an eye for what needs to be done around the office, and be able to take proactive solutions to resolve
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Additional Requirements
- Shift Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
Pay Rate/Salary
- $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
