Human Resources - Early-Stage Venture Studio Environment

As we scale, we are building our internal people and operations systems from the ground up to support a high-performing, globally distributed team.
## **Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly capable Human Resources Manager / People Operations Lead to build and operate the company’s HR function from inception. This role will establish foundational HR systems, policies, and processes while supporting a growing team that includes international applicants and remote contributors.
In addition to core HR responsibilities, this role will provide executive-level administrative and coordination support to the CEO, requiring discretion, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone comfortable operating independently in an early-stage environment and balancing strategic HR work with practical execution.
## **Key Responsibilities**
### HR & People Operations
* Build and implement HR systems, policies, and procedures from the ground up
* Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
* Coordinate hiring and compliance for international applicants and contractors
* Maintain employee records, HRIS systems, and documentation
* Manage performance review processes and employee relations
* Support compensation planning, benefits administration, and payroll coordination
* Serve as the primary HR point of contact for team members
### Executive Support
* Provide administrative and operational support to the CEO as needed
* Assist with scheduling, coordination, and follow-ups related to internal operations
* Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
* Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives directed by leadership
## **Required Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or HR Management
* Demonstrated experience implementing HR functions and processes from scratch
* Experience working with international or remote teams
* Exceptional organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills
* Ability to balance strategic HR responsibilities with hands-on administrative work
## **Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms
* Experience supporting technical or product-driven teams
* Background in startups, venture studios, or early-stage companies

* Remote-friendly (U.S.-based preferred; international experience required)
