Performs skilled and semi-skilled duties associated with the preventive maintenance and repair of the City’s facilities, water and sewer systems; performs street, streetlight and street signage maintenance and repair, performs maintenance and repairs to irrigation systems, maintains common and park areas of City as well as City buildings. Provides janitorial services such as emptying office trash/recycling, and light mopping/sweeping. Provides support and carries out setup duties for citywide events.

Thorough knowledge of one trade or working knowledge of a variety of trades; ability to interpret work instructions and other technical guides; reads blueprints, practical knowledge of tools, machinery and equipment; some work planning and layout; basic electrical wiring knowledge: practical shop mathematics. Work consists of a complex and varied standardized tasks, process, or operations.
