Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors- Coordinate and oversee vendor selection process- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements- Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely manner- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure vendor needs are met- Conduct regular vendor evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to vendor management
Qualifications:- Previous experience in vendor management or related field preferred- Strong negotiation and communication skills- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities- Proficient in retail math, including calculations for pricing, discounts, and margins- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is a plus
