VP, OPERATIONS - (Orlando, FL)
COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Our client is a national turnkey event services provider, specializing in trade show booth design, fabrication, installation, dismantling and warehousing. With a portfolio of several award-winning booths and over 40 years of experience, their team is driven by the results their clients aspire to accomplish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
- Lead day-to-day operations of the fulfillment center including project staging, buildouts, warehousing, and logistics coordination.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team including supervisors, warehouse staff, carpenters, and drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and project management, preferably in the trade show or event management industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
- Superior client relationship management and communication skills.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
