Position Description:

The Briar Team, Central Florida's top family-owned Site Development Construction company, is looking for hard-working and reliable General Laborers for immediate hire with excellent pay and benefits, performance bonuses, profit sharing, generous paid time off and yearly loyalty bonuses, in addition to training and opportunities for growth.

As a General Laborer, you will provide support in a variety of construction projects. Crew types in need of general labor help may be pipe, grade, concrete, punchout, testing, mud or silt fence. To be successful in this position, you must work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks.

General Laborer Responsibilities:

1. Assisting your crew in their daily labor tasks.
2. Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
3. Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
4. Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from site.
5. Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures.
6. Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs.
7. Digging holes, trenches, and shafts.
8. Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete.
9. Using power tools such as concrete saws and jackhammers.
10. Following health and safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15-$18 per hour (based on amount of relevant experience)

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Schedule:

1. Monday - Friday. Saturdays on an as-needed basis. 6:45am-4:45pm

4. No overnights or over the road travel. No per diem pay.
5. Jobsite Range: Palm Coast, FL to St Cloud, FL
6. Year-round work

Position Requirements:

Job Requirements:

1. Reliable transportation to assigned jobsite.
2. Experience preferred but not required. Experienced workers will be given preference in available positions.
3. Ability to lift heavy loads.
4. Excellent stamina.
5. Ability to work 8–10-hour days in the harsh weather conditions such as extreme heat, cold and rain.
