Travel Registered Nurse - Corrections - Ocilla, Georgia
Location: Ocilla, Georgia
Schedule: Flexible schedule - weekends not needed
Strating hourly Pay: 55.00 hourly with a travel per diem based on distance traveled What You'll Do:
As a Correctional Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of compassionate care in a correctional center. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a correctional facility you will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including patient assessments, medication administration, and emergency care, while managing chronic conditions and promoting wellness. They ensure compliance with medical and legal standards, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to deliver safe, professional care in a secure environment. Requirements .
- RN license in the state of assignment or "Compact" Multi-License
- BLS
- 1+ years of recent correctional nursing experience preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States

- Job Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Corrections.
- Perform patient assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency care as needed.
- Manage chronic conditions and provide patient education on health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to deliver quality care.
- Follow infection control protocols and conduct screenings and immunizations.
- Support security measures while delivering safe and professional care.
