Express Service Technician / Lube Tech
Job Summary: The Express Service Technician/Lube Tech at Prestige Ford in Mount Dora, Florida is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles in an efficient and timely manner. This individual will be responsible for identifying and addressing minor mechanical issues, completing oil changes and tire rotations, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time individual contributor position in the automotive industry with a competitive salary of $15 per hour. Compensation & Benefits:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, including but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Identify and diagnose minor mechanical issues and initiate necessary repairs.
- Keep track of inventory and supplies, and communicate with management when supplies are low.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards while performing all work.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle concerns and recommended repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Keep up-to-date with automotive technology and techniques through ongoing training.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
