Social Media Specialist

Duration: Contract (Part-Time, ~20 hours/month)
Compensation Range: $20.00/hr – $30.00/hr
Job Description:
The client is seeking a Social Media Specialist to create, edit, and publish engaging video content across social platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Edit 5–7 short-form videos per week for social media platforms
- Create engaging content using tools like Adobe Suite, CapCut, or Canva
- Collaborate with the client to align content with brand voice and goals
- Optimize videos for platform performance (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.)
- Manage posting schedule and ensure consistent content delivery
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 1–3 years of social media content creation and video editing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Canva
- Experience editing short-form video content for social platforms
- Experience creating social media captions for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok
- Ability to manage workload independently within ~20 hours/month
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with analytics tools and performance tracking
- Basic graphic design skills
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools
