The ideal candidate for this position must have prior experience in a highly visible customer focused role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant. Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Candidates must be highly polished and understand the art of luxury hospitality. Impeccable professionalism, eloquent mannerisms and exceptional command of English is highly desired. The ability to speak other languages is preferred. ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values of The Setai.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in work schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Has knowledge of reservation systems (Open Table preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively to establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff, and management.
- Assist in managing waitlists during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining room etiquette.
- Ability to focus on details.
