Accounts Payable Specialist

O2B Kids is part of O2B Early Education, based in Gainesville, FL. We are expanding rapidly and are in search of an organized and efficient Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This is a crucial role in our corporate office located in Gainesville, FL, where you will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable process while ensuring timely payment of invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting our financial operations, collaborating with various departments to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the payment process.

Responsibilities and Duties

Culture

• Build a positive culture with co-workers

Frontline Support

• Provide Daily Support to frontline staff

Finance Support

• Check and distribute incoming mail
• Receive and assist with incoming phone calls

Accounts Payable

• Process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Enter and process recurring bills.
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors, resolving payment issues, discrepancies, and answering queries.
• Maintain accurate files and records

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role
• Experience with multi-location company and use of allocations
• Proficiency with accounting software, experience with Sage Intacct a plus
• Experience/strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Experience with Excel
• Experience in Purchasing a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with high daily volume of invoice entry
