Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $22.73 - $28.41 / hour

Summary

The Laboratory Support Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising the overall operations of the laboratory support staff. This position assists with or is responsible for interviewing, hiring, counseling and scheduling of staff. The Laboratory Support Services Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of all lab assistants and other non-licensed staff within the section and is the primary resource for staff. This position is also responsible for orientation, training, and competency assessment of staff. Works with the Laboratory leadership team in the development and implementation of Support Services procedures. Identifies problems and opportunities for performance improvement, waste elimination, and cost containment. Works with other lab leadership staff as a representative of Support Services. This position assures the delivery of service is in accordance with applicable accreditation standards, and State and Federal laws and regulations. The Laboratory Support Services Supervisor is responsible for providing an excellent patient experience and ensuring that customer service needs and quality of service issues are addressed and resolved.
