Operation Supervisor
Estate Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, LLC is a well-established, locally owned company with over 20 years of experience in delivering high-quality landscaping services. As an Operation Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading production teams to exceed client expectations through efficient operations, a strong safety culture, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dispatching and receiving procedures to ensure crews are fully equipped and prepared for scheduled work.
- Manage end-of-day processes, including vehicle parking, debris disposal, and securing all equipment.
- Implement operational strategies such as job sequencing and efficient workflow to maximize productivity.
- Coordinate manpower and materials to ensure timely completion of tasks and small installations.
- Enforce company safety programs, conduct regular safety meetings, and maintain accurate safety records.
- Monitor daily inspections and ensure proper use of safety equipment and procedures.
- Investigate and document incidents or accidents, and manage post-incident processes for affected employees.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Maintain quality standards through job inspections, property grading, and execution of punch lists.
- Address client requests and assist with resolving minor customer concerns in collaboration with Account Managers.
- Maintain accountability for company assets using tracking systems and ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
- Audit equipment for safety and compliance, and oversee repair and maintenance requests.
- Lead crew management activities including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
- Foster a positive team environment focused on employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of horticultural materials, including fertilizers, plants, and chemicals.
- Familiarity with industry equipment and ability to oversee equipment safety and maintenance.
- Ability to learn and utilize management, training, and asset tracking software systems.
- Experience implementing and enforcing safety programs and conducting site inspections.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams and management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising crews and managing operational processes.
