Overview The Litigation Manager of Equipment Finance Recovery is responsible for the strategy, management and reporting of all post charge off activities related to in-house recovery collections and litigation. This position sets and reviews criteria for which accounts are worked through by the in-house litigation recovery team and litigation attorneys. Reports to the Vice President of Equipment Finance Recovery. Responsibilities General Functions - Manage in-house collection activities, to include determining which accounts are best handled by the in-house team, creating criteria for those accounts to be worked with determination when other collection activities are needed for litigation. Managerial Functions - Assesses daily work for accuracy, process improvements, and efficiencies. Maintains detailed documentation on associate performance and supervisory actions. Manages the performance of assigned staff, including coaching, mentorship, training, and staff evaluations. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development. Litigation management - Set guidelines for when outside attorneys are utilized. Determine most cost-effective means of placement (hourly, contingent, fee per usage, etc.). Regional vs National approach. Conduct regular meetings with litigation attorneys to review performance, strategies, and continuance of relationships. Including travel for litigation and mediation cases. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Litigation, Bankruptcy and/or Recovery

High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Litigation, Bankruptcy and/or Recovery Required Qualifications - Prior leadership/management experience
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand legal documents
- Experience coordinating with outside counsel, vendors, or third-party partners
- Experience in legal support or litigation-related role (e.g., paralegal, legal assistant, recovery specialist)
- Reporting and/or reporting analysis experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Legal Studies, Business, or related field
- Prior experience working in debt recovery, collections litigation, or financial services
- Paralegal certification or coursework in legal terminology or litigation procedures
