Tax Strategy Lead

Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, providing tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to our clients. This is a key role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in tax laws and regulations, and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties:- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits- Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities- Prepare and review financial statements and accounting records to identify potential tax issues or opportunities- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients

- Prepare sales tax returns for Florida and other states

Experience:To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations- Proficiency in using tax software- Experience with account analysis, financial sales, mergers acquisitions- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
