We are seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to become a part of our team!

Dental Assistant Job Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Assistance:

• Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Assist the dentist during treatments and procedures by handing instruments, providing suction, and preparing materials.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following proper safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment, including disinfecting dental chairs, instruments, and work surfaces.

Dental Technology Operation:

• Learn and operate innovative dental technologies, such as digital radiography, 3D imaging, and laser systems, under supervision.
• Assist in setting up and troubleshooting equipment as needed during procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging dental technologies and incorporate them into daily practice to improve patient care.

Administrative Duties: ​​

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Patient Education:

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.
• Provide instructions to patients on post-treatment care and follow-up appointments.

Team Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the dentist and office manager to ensure efficient patient care.
• Maintain open and professional communication with patients, addressing any concerns or questions.

Professional Development:

• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new dental technologies, techniques, and industry trends.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe, confidential, and compliant practice.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are properly sanitized and meet safety standards.
