Industrial Planner and Scheduler

EEE is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Industrial Planner and Scheduler to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient planning, coordination and scheduling of industrial service work, including maintenance, shutdowns, turnarounds, and capital improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial environments such as energy or construction and will be responsible for maintaining business unit scheduling, coordinating with the Field Service Managers (FSMs) on manpower allocation, and working with our sales team/customers timetables for work execution. Additionally, candidate will assist on work order closeout verifying all applicable closeout items are accounted for.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed work order schedules
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and field teams to gather input and update schedules.
Coordinate with Field Service Managers, Sales Engineers, and Operations manager to gather input and update company schedule(s).
Analyze work order progress and identify potential delays or risks; assist Field Service Managers on mitigation strategies.
Ensure alignment of schedules with work order budgets, resource availability, and contractual requirements.
Work with the Sales Team and the FSMs to assist in accounting for the proper documentation being present in the given work order.
Updating and documenting daily team member schedule in EEE’s custom portal
Work with the Materials Coordinator and Purchaser to track material and equipment delivery dates.
Work with Operations Manager, Materials Coordinator, Sales Engineers, and Field Service Managers (FSM) for scheduling, materials and equipment
Update schedule for delayed materials, customer needs, and cancellations.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or construction scheduling, preferably within an engineering firm.
Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) is preferred but not required.
Understanding the nature of service work scheduling and being in a fast paced, high volume, high velocity industry.
Services involving power distribution, control systems, or renewable energy.
Familiarity with engineering workflows, design-build environments, and multi-discipline coordination.
