Field Trainer
Job Description: Clinical Field Trainer (TRAVEL REQUIRED)
Reports To: Director of Training and Culture

This role exists to protect that consistency — supporting current and future clinical team member, in every market, is set up to deliver exceptional care from day one.
Summary: Do you excel at turning complex clinical processes into clear, engaging learning experiences that stick? As a Training Specialist Enable Dental, you will delivery, and reinforcement of training across our markets nationwide — protecting workflow consistency, accelerating time-to-productivity, and ensuring every patient receives high-quality care through a well-trained, confident team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support in the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs for clinical and support operation teams.
- Facilitate training through various methods, including onsite instructor-led sessions, virtual learning, and blended formats.
- Develop, update, and document curriculum content, training materials, and learning objectives aligned with company policies, workflows, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with market managers and subject matter experts to incorporate new programs, processes, and best practices into training initiatives.
- Support the identification and development of additional courses, job aids, and micro-learning resources to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Administer assessments and evaluate employee understanding and application of training content.
- Track and report learner progress in designated systems and provide feedback to leadership regarding performance, gaps, and additional training needs.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and follow-up training sessions to reinforce learning and support skill development.
- Respond to training-related inquiries and provide ongoing support to field teams.
- Assist with training logistics including scheduling, communication, and coordination of training sessions.
- Maintain consistency and quality of training delivery across multiple markets.
- Must be comfortable traveling 1-2 weeks per month within Enable’s markets to support and deliver onsite training to clinical and operations teams.

- Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and translate complex information—including clinical workflows, compliance and safety documents, policy manuals, and training materials—into clear, engaging learning experiences. Communicates effectively in both group and one-on-one settings, adapting delivery style to meet the needs of diverse learners across the organization.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations, including interpreting training metrics, learner progress, and performance data. Able to use data to support training recommendations and identify learning gaps.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems in dynamic, field-based environments; assess training effectiveness; and adapt approaches based on learner needs, operational variables, and evolving workflows. Capable of interpreting written and verbal instructions and applying them in real-world training scenarios.
Computer Skills: Proficient in dental practice management systems (e.g., CareStack), learning management systems (e.g., Trainual), and standard business tools including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual training platforms. Able to navigate systems efficiently to support training delivery, tracking, and reporting.
Requirements
Education and or Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in training, education, or staff development, preferably in a healthcare or dental environment.
- Multi-site management experience preferred
- Proficient in practice management software, Microsoft Office suite, and a LMS
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
