Venue Sales Manager - SEAM
SEAM Hospitality is a dynamic venue management company dedicated to curating meaningful experiences across unique event spaces. We oversee and activate some of Tampa’s most sought-after properties—including Hyde House Public Studio , HOME , and Hyde House Heights — offering elevated, flexible environments for private events, weddings, corporate gatherings, and creative experiences.
Position Overview
SEAM Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Venue Sales Manager to oversee event sales, coordination, and execution across our flagship properties. From initial inquiry through final payment and post-event wrap-up, the Venue Manager is responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for clients, vendors, and internal teams alike. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, event planning expertise, and hospitality leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Sales, Communication & Client Experience
- Respond to and manage all venue inquiries across Hyde House Public Studio, HOME, and Hyde House Heights.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with prospective clients and non-responsive leads.
- Schedule and lead venue tours and walkthroughs with potential clients.
- Prepare, negotiate, and send proposals, contracts, and deposit requests.
- Maintain ongoing communication throughout the booking process.
- Conduct post-tour and post-event follow-ups.
Event Oversight & Execution
- Serve as primary liaison with clients, planners, and vendors throughout the event lifecycle.
- Coordinate event details including bar orders, rentals, layouts, timelines, and vendor logistics.
- Oversee walkthroughs, rehearsals, and day-of schedules as needed.
- Provide open to close on-site event coverage across all three venues.
- Promote and sell value-add services such as rental upgrades.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with catering, bar service, and rental vendors.
- Coordinate vendor logistics and communications per event.
- Track and process payments to vendors; oversee client payment schedules.
Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update the events calendar; distribute to cleaning staff and internal teams weekly.
- Organize and store client documentation, floor plans, invoices, and contracts.
- Oversee venue cleaning schedules and coordinate event turnover/movers.
- Collect and organize event photos for marketing or archival use.
- Contribute to ongoing office and admin tasks that support venue operations.
- Collaborate on and implement marketing strategies for lead generation across venues.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in venue sales or event management, hospitality, or related field.
- Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and event/CRM software.
- Must be available for evening and weekend event coverage.
- Positive, professional, and client-first attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
