Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Bradenton, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Support the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf in the daily operation of the golf program. This role is ideal for a PGA Associate or PGA Class A Professional who is passionate about member service, operational excellence, and player development. The position provides additional earning opportunities through instruction, club repair, and junior programming.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist with the daily operation of the golf shop, practice facilities, and first tee.
• Provide a welcoming and professional environment for members and guests.
• Monitor pace of play and ensure golf course rules and etiquette are upheld.
• Support tournament operations, including setup, scoring, and communications.
• Oversee outside service staff as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
• Assist with merchandising, including sales, displays, and inventory management.

Instruction & Player Development:
• Provide private and group instruction to players of all skill levels.
• Assist with the development and delivery of junior clinics and camps.
• Support ladies’ and beginner programming to enhance member engagement.
• Promote a fun, welcoming, and educational atmosphere for all player development activities.

Club Repair & Services:
• Perform basic club repair services including re-gripping, re-shafting, and loft/lie adjustments.
• Promote and manage club repair as an added value service to members.
• Assist with equipment fittings and product knowledge for members.
Leadership & Support
• Work closely with the Head Golf Professional to maintain the highest standards of service and professionalism.
• Act as a role model for Outside Services and Golf Shop staff.
• Maintain a visible presence on the course and practice areas.
• Continue personal and professional development through the PGA program.

Requirements:
PGA Associate or PGA Class A Member (or actively pursuing PGA Membership).
Prior golf operations experience at a private club or resort preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of tournament software, POS systems, and teaching technology preferred.
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.

Compensation:
$50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year.
