A long-established South Florida GC (nearly 60 years) is hiring a Senior Estimator to lead the full estimating function—from conceptual budgeting and preconstruction planning through final bid submission . Family-founded and now a $25M General Contractor , the company is entering a major growth phase through an exclusive developer partnership, with a committed pipeline expected to drive revenue toward $100M.

This role offers a defined path to Chief Estimator , with compensation growth aligned to project launches and company expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction and estimating on projects from $1M–$100M
• Produce conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and bid packages
• Perform takeoffs, scope reviews, and CSI trade coverage checks
• Run subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and apples-to-apples comparisons
• Identify scope gaps and pricing risk across architectural, structural, civil, and MEP
• Maintain cost history and estimating standards for scalability
• Deliver complete estimate handoff to operations/project teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years GC estimating (commercial/multifamily preferred)
• Experience with multi-million-dollar project pricing
• Strong drawing/spec review skills (A/S/MEP)
• Advanced Excel; Bluebeam/OST/PlanSwift/Procore a plus
• Can run preconstruction workflow independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift/On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Procore , or similar tools
• Experience with ground-up commercial/multifamily and complex renovation projects
