Senior Litigation Attorney

Chiumento Law, PLLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team in Palm Coast, FL. We seek a talented Litigation Attorney to join our team and help drive our practice forward. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and highly organized attorney with a passion for litigation and a strong desire to grow professionally. This role offers the opportunity to handle a wide variety of litigation matters, with significant client interaction and courtroom experience. You will play a key role in case development, trial preparation, and more.

Responsibilities :

• Lead all aspects of litigation, including pre-trial motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and final judgments as directed by lead attorney.
• Conduct legal research to inform case strategy and stay updated on case law and legal developments.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials, with opportunities for hands-on experience in the courtroom.
• Work closely with partner and clients to develop case strategies and provide high-quality legal representation.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and offer legal advice.
• Manage a caseload and ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
• Support firm-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Florida Bar.
• +5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Trial experience or significant exposure to courtroom proceedings.
• Experience in contract disputes, evictions (both commercial and residential), and general civil litigation.
• Familiarity with legal technology and case management software.
