Our client, with over 40 years in the business, is seeking a Senior Marine Fiberglass Technician experienced in composite fabrication, structural repair, mold building, and advanced FRP techniques. This role requires someone who can fabricate, not just repair — ideal for technicians with strong experience in epoxy, vinyl ester, polyester resins, laminates, composite structures, and yacht-grade finishing.

What You’ll Do

• Perform structural and cosmetic fiberglass repairs using epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resins
• Fabricate new components, molds, and composite structures from scratch
• Apply and laminate multiple layers of mat, cloth, and core materials
• Build and prep molds, including plug work, surface prep, fairing, and reinforcement
• Use rollers, squeegees, brushes, and specialty tools to eliminate air pockets and ensure proper adhesion
• Perform vacuum bagging; infusion experience is a strong plus
• Interpret drawings/blueprints to ensure accuracy, strength, and structural integrity
• Sand, grind, cut, and prepare composite surfaces to yacht-quality finish standards

What You Bring

• 3+ years senior-level fiberglass/composite fabrication experience (marine strongly preferred)
• Proven ability to build molds, not just work from them
• Strong epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester laminate knowledge
• Experience with composite repair, fabrication, layup, core materials, and structural bonding
• Vacuum bagging or infusion experience is a plus
• Ability to work with minimal instruction after brief onboarding
