Job Title: Industrial Waste Cleaning Services Manager

Summary/Objective

The Industrial Waste Cleaning Services Manager is a results-oriented leader responsible for the profitable and compliant operation of the business unit. The manager will lead and develop a team of four salespeople and three operations personnel, overseeing day-to-day operations, strategic business growth, and strict adherence to all industry compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong track record of both financial performance and team leadership in an industrial service environment.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

1. Profitability and Financial Management

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure the business unit achieves and exceeds profitability goals.
• Manage and control the branch budget, forecasting expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities related to labor, equipment, and materials.
• Analyze key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and operational data to drive efficiency and optimize profit margins.
• Manage job costing and make necessary adjustments to meet or exceed budgeted margins.

2. Personnel Management and Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four sales professionals and three operations personnel, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and results-driven culture.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and address employee issues promptly and fairly.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees, ensuring the team is fully staffed and well-trained.
• Ensure a high level of employee morale and a "can-do" attitude across both sales and operations teams.

3. Business Growth and Development

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for acquiring new accounts and expanding services with existing clients.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
• Oversee the preparation of estimates and procedures for new projects, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and profitability.
• Actively seek opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional services to existing customers.
