REGISTERED NURSE MANAGER - EMERGENCY SERVICES

As the Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the emergency department, including patient care, staff management, and budgetary considerations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all operations of the emergency department, ensuring high-quality and efficient patient care. - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. - Hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff, providing feedback and support for professional development. - Monitor and manage department budget, including staffing, supplies, and equipment. - Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information. - Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner. - Stay current on advancements and changes in emergency medicine and implement best practices in the department. Qualifications: - Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards. - Proficiency in electronic medical records and other computer systems. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
