Kindergarten Teacher
:
We use the Bob Jones University curriculum (BJU Press) with biblical world-view. We also offer BJU's Teacher Tools Online for assistance in lesson planning, online access to the curriculum and professional development. Our SIS integrated management system is Gradelink.
Qualifications must include one of these but not limited to:
· BA in Education field or
· 3 years min. teaching experience required in Elementary Ed. or
· BA or higher with min. 1 year teaching experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
> Christian grace-based beliefs with biblical world-view.
> Will need to incorporate STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics) which is provided.
> Provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters a growth mindset.
> Possess a positive attitude and teachableness. Teamwork is valued.
> Demonstrate planning, organization, and written and oral communication skills.
> Provide lesson plans which most are available with BJU Press curriculum.
> Ability to provide appropriate educational environment and experiences based on developmental needs of students while incorporating Christian principles and values that are bible-based.
> Current knowledge of education trends, methods, research, and technology; subject area knowledge.
> Utilize positive classroom/behavior management strategies.
> Demonstrate ability to deliver appropriate instructional strategies in the classroom.
> Ability to analyze student performance data (such as running records for K-2 & assessments).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
