Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Internal Medicine
Location: Wesley Chapel, FL 33544 (Floating to Foggy Creek as needed)
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Overview:
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Internal Medicine office in Wesley Chapel, FL (33544), with occasional floating to our Foggy Creek location. This is a fully onsite role, with more days at Wesley Chapel for the time being, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and professional clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for exams and treatments

• Collect vitals, perform clinical intake, and document accurately in real-time

• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures

• Administer medications as ordered by the provider (if certified)

• Perform administrative duties including insurance verification, copay collection, and scheduling

• Ensure patient safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, AHMG policies)

• Float between Wesley Chapel and Foggy Creek offices as needed

• Support the mission and values of the organization in every interaction

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program

• Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following: AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA

• Current CPR certification

• Strong communication, multitasking, and EMR documentation skills

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced clinical setting

• Minimum of one year of experience in any medical background

• Internal Medicine experience preferred

Pay Details: $17.11 to $27.37 per hour
