Preservation Coordinator
Location: Orlando, FL 32808 – This position is onsite
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Type: Contract to hire
 Schedule: M-F, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST 
 Some early morning, evenings, weekends, will be required as-needed. All overtime must be supervisor approved. 
Career outlook: 80% employee cost paid with options for 100% paid for employee only. Retirement with match.
Job description:
- Client Intake & Support: Manage application intake and processing, maintain accurate client records, and respond to inquiries within 48 business hours to provide program information and referrals.
 - Program Coordination: Assist in the delivery and logistics of Home Preservation services including critical repairs, disaster preparedness, and educational classes; serve as liaison for presenters and clients.
 - Administrative Support: Provide data entry, reporting, and general administrative assistance across departments to ensure smooth program operations.
 - Community Engagement: Represent the organization at community events and support storytelling initiatives by engaging clients willing to share their experiences.
 - Disaster Preparedness & Response: Coordinate proactive and reactive efforts related to organizational disaster readiness and response planning.
 
Nice to have:
- Associate’s degree or higher
 - Nonprofit or similar
 - Bilingual: Spanish/English or Haitian Creole/English
 
Requirements:
-  Must have a strong background in a recent administrative role 
 - Must be MS Office proficient including MS Excel and PowerPoint
 - Must be able to obtain certifications within the first 90-days, must update and maintain certificate (training provided by client)
 - Local travel required with mileage reimbursement
 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - Background check required
 - Credit check required (soft)
