Construction Project Engineer
The Construction Project Engineer supports successful project delivery by managing materials, documentation, coordination, and quality control to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Track material and equipment orders, manage schedules, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to prevent delays.
Document Management: Maintain up-to-date drawings, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
Safety & Quality: Enforce OSHA standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and codes.
Subcontractor Oversight: Communicate expectations, review work for quality, and address issues proactively.
Project Closeout: Assist with punch lists, as-built drawings, and warranty documentation.
Communication: Build strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and inspectors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
2+ years of construction project management or internship experience
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project
Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
