Server
- Setup side stations
- Provide immediate attention to member and guest upon being seated
- Takes member and guests food and drink orders
- Places order with the kitchen and informs cooks of any special cooking instructions when given
- Serves member and guest meals to their table (placing correct dishes in front of the member/guest by order)
- Suggest and serve dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks
- Enter all orders into the POS system accurately to ensure that the correct members are charged for the meal
- Checks with the members/guest after they receive their orders to ensure their satisfaction with the item(s).
- Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when the meal is completed
- Verify accuracy of chit before presenting to member
- Present chit to member for signature
- Handle all credit card charges as dictated by the standard operation procedures
- Advise supervisor/manager of any complaints immediately after they occur.
- Keep tables, dining room and bus area clean
- Perform cleanup and closing duties as assigned by manager
- Attend all pre-meal meetings when scheduled
- Report to management any needed repairs immediately following discovery
- Room set-up including moving & arranging furniture to accommodate members and special events
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Act, dress, and behave in a professional manner to reflect a positive image of The Addison Reserve Country Club.
- Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with the membership, guests, management, and coworkers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions.
- Ability to be flexible and juggle many member/guest orders at the same time.
- Working efficiently in a stressful environment.
- Ability to work long and unusual hours when necessary.
- Must have a basic understanding of wines.
- Must enjoy working with the public, members and their guest’s
- Sound understanding of a leading POS system.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays
- Must have knowledge in safety and accident avoidance.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a first class establishment with regards to dining room service.
