Cummins Worldwide is a growing boutique estate planning and accounting firm providing professional accounting, financial, and trust-related services to our clients.
As we continue to expand, we are building an in-house Estate Planning & Trust Services Division to deliver strategic, high-level estate, trust, and legacy planning for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
This is not a law firm position.
This is not a document-preparation role.
This is a leadership position responsible for designing, guiding, and executing long-term wealth transfer strategies.

About the Role
The Director of Estate & Legacy Planning will lead and own our estate planning vertical.
You will design long-term wealth transfer roadmaps, coordinate attorneys and CPAs, guide clients through complex structures, and ensure proper execution and continuity of estate plans over time.
This role requires senior-level judgment, strategic thinking, and executive presence.
You are not simply reviewing documents — you are architecting a multi-generational strategy.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Division Ownership
• Lead and scale the Estate Planning Division in alignment with corporate strategy
• Develop estate planning frameworks, internal procedures, and best practices
• Design advanced, tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies
• Create long-term wealth transfer roadmaps tailored to each client
Client Advisory & Education
• Educate clients in clear, practical language on trusts, estate taxes, fiduciary structures, and legacy planning
• Guide high-net-worth families through complex planning decisions
• Translate technical concepts into strategic clarity
Coordination & Execution
• Coordinate external attorneys, CPAs, fiduciaries, trustees, and financial professionals
• Oversee implementation of estate planning strategies
• Ensure compliance, follow-through, and long-term continuity
• Maintain oversight of trust activity and structural integrity
Leadership & Growth
• Establish KPIs and performance standards for the division
• Support internal team members working on estate-related matters
• Represent Cummins Worldwide in professional and estate planning networks
• Identify referral partners and strategic alliances
You’re a Great Fit If You
• Have 8+ years of senior-level experience in estate planning, tax planning, trust administration, or wealth management
• Hold a CFP, CPA (tax focus), JD with estate planning experience, or LLM in Tax/Estate (preferred)
• Have demonstrated ability to design and execute complex estate plans
• Can design long-term wealth transfer roadmaps
• Communicate complex strategy clearly and confidently
• Are comfortable coordinating cross-disciplinary professionals
• Have experience working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients
