Brazer - 1st Shift

Job Description: What You’ll Do: As a Brazer I , you’ll play a key role in our production team, performing precision brazing and welding tasks—primarily with copper—to build high-quality components. You’ll follow detailed instructions and safety protocols to ensure every product meets our high standards. Your Day-to-Day: Perform brazing using a gas torch on copper materials with filler metals. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders. Conduct first article inspections and report any defects or issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Collaborate with team members across shifts and departments. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and problem-solving. Use ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools to track production and inventory. Be flexible—train across different areas and support other shifts as needed. What You Bring: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience (6+ months). Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents in English. Must complete JCI Brazer training within 30 days of hire. Physical & Work Environment Requirements: Work in a noisy, dusty, non-climate-controlled environment. Lift up to 30 lbs regularly, 40 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally.
