Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of relevant warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience
• Valid Florida driver’s license
• Basic computer and data entry skills

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse / Logistics Technician to support daily operations in a county warehouse environment. This role involves receiving, stocking, inventory tracking, and distributing materials while maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient storage practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and distribute materials and supplies
• Maintain inventory levels and track usage/history of parts and materials
• Organize and store items using proper bin locations and storage methods
• Assist with records management, including tracking items received, issued, repaired, or disposed
• Perform inventory counts and support reporting for cost tracking and asset management
• Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality against purchase orders
• Provide customer service to internal departments and the public
• Support additional warehouse or department tasks as assigned

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, ratios)
• Ability to operate or learn warehouse equipment such as forklifts
• Comfortable using computers for inventory tracking and data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
