Job Summary
The Mobile Application Developer III (.NET MAUI) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Company’s Virtual OneStop (VOS) mobile applications using .NET MAUI and C#. This role works closely with cross-functional team members in an Agile environment to deliver new features, resolve defects, support production issues, and ensure successful deployment of mobile applications to Apple App Store and Google Play.
The developer will contribute to both cross-platform MAUI code and platform-specific native implementations (iOS/Android) when required.
The role supports a single shared codebase deployed across multiple clients, with client-specific configuration, branding, and assets applied to meet individual customer requirements.
Viable candidates must be willing to work onsite at GSI's headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida daily.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using .NET MAUI and C#
- Develop and support a single shared MAUI codebase with client-specific configuration and assets for multiple client deployments
- Implement cross-platform UI and business logic using MAUI best practices
- Develop platform-specific native MAUI code for iOS and Android as needed
- Deploy mobile applications to Android and iOS devices for development and testing purposes, including emulator and physical device deployment
- Publish and maintain mobile applications using Visual Studio 2022+
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve development and production issues
- Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to identify software defects
- Work with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Follow established architecture patterns (MVVM) and design specifications
- Apply mobile development best practices for performance, security, and maintainability
- Participate in Agile meetings/processes and collaborate with QA, product, and backend teams
Work Experience / Knowledge
- Strong experience developing applications with .NET MAUI
- Proficient in C# and .NET application development
- Experience working with Xamarin / Xamarin.Forms (legacy or migration support)
- Experience implementing native platform features within MAUI
- Working knowledge of iOS and Android application lifecycles
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs
- Proficient understanding of source control and branching strategies (TFS)
- Experience with mobile app publishing and store compliance
- 5–10 years of experience in mobile or application development
Work Demands
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to support a customer base with high service-level expectations
Qualifications / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred
