Project Executive - Commercial Construction
RWE Design Build is seeking an experienced Project Executive to join our growing team in Tampa! This senior leadership role serves as the primary representative to RWE Design Build’s project management team and key liaison to our clients. The Project Executive will oversee all aspects of project delivery - from preconstruction through closeout - ensuring excellence in quality, safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Relationship Management
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are understood, managed, and exceeded.
Develop and strengthen long-term client relationships, including understanding client loyalties, goals, backgrounds, and organizational networks.
Foster opportunities for personal interaction with clients and associated partners (architects, engineers, brokers, and other stakeholders).
Maintain continuous communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, including participation in owner and project meetings.
Ensure consistent client satisfaction and pursue new business development opportunities to support company growth.
Project Leadership & Oversight
Provide high-level oversight of multiple projects from start to finish, including scope, budget, schedule, performance, and profitability.
Collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain alignment and deliver outstanding project outcomes.
Ensure seamless transition of projects from Preconstruction to Project Management and Field Operations.
Conduct post-closeout reviews and apply learnings to future project planning and execution.
Utilize strong business judgment to manage financial trade-offs, mitigate risk, and achieve profitability goals.
Preconstruction & Proposal Development
Participate in bid proposal kick-off meetings and support development of proposal responses.
Lead the preparation and review of project schedules, budgets, and shortlist presentations.
Assist in acquiring, defining, and budgeting new projects, ensuring alignment with profitability objectives and project complexities.
Team Management & Development
Mentor, coach, and train project staff to meet or exceed RWE performance standards.
Evaluate personnel assignments for Project Managers and Superintendents and adjust as needed.
Recruit talented team members and ensure effective matching of staff to project size and complexity.
Provide guidance and leadership that fosters strong teamwork, high morale, and professional growth.
Performance, Quality & Financial Control
Ensure all projects meet or exceed budget and profitability objectives.
Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, performance, expenditures, and potential issues.
Lead the identification and mitigation of project risks, schedule impacts, and budget challenges.
Monitor and analyze project performance forecasts and provide direction for corrective actions.
Conduct quality reviews, oversee closeout processes, and ensure adherence to all corporate commitments.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
10+ years of experience in construction management with demonstrated executive-level responsibility.
Experience managing multiple large-scale commercial projects, preferably in healthcare.
Proven success in client-facing leadership roles.
