- Performing visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of plastic, sheet metal, electronic, and electro-mechanical components to ensure conformance to customer specifications
- Completing real-time data entry and documenting quality results in internal systems
- Providing feedback to engineers and maintaining relevant drawings and procedures
- Conducting inspections on various production lines and stages of assembly, utilizing IPC-A-610 Standards, BOMs, visual aids, and written procedures
- Directing products for rework and confirming completion, arranging documentation for first article requirements, and performing process audits
- Ensuring proper staging and coordination of processing steps, maintaining ESD integrity, and cleanliness of work area
- Participating in training and potentially training other employees
- Hold an Associate’s Degree in a relevant field (electronics focus preferred) and have 2+ years' inspection experience in a high-volume, contract-manufacturing environment
- Possess IPC-A-600/610/620 certification and familiarity with operating a 3D Automated Optical Inspection (3DAOI) machine
- Can perform inspections by following blueprints and procedures from supplier engineering
- Understand basic electro-mechanical tools (multi-meters, calipers, torque drivers, etc.) and can interpret detailed drawings and schematics
- Have experience with ERP systems and basic computer skills, along with strong organizational and communication abilities
- Are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Have ESD Training; ISO 9001 experience is a plus
- Are a US Person as defined in 22 CFR Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, those given asylum, and temporary residents granted amnesty)
