Job Title: New Development Crew Foreman

Location : Variety of jobsites from Dade to Brevard Counties

Schedule : Monday – Friday with weekends as needed

There is an opportunity to Foreman a New Development Backbone crew. This position is responsible for all phases of underground utility installations, crew management, and customer service while maintaining a high level of production, safety and quality

Expectations & Responsibilities:

• Actively manage jobsite, crewmembers, daily schedules
• Daily creation of required documents: MVIR, JHA, timesheets, as-builts, etc.
• Able to take directions from Management and Supervisors
• Always represent Viking in a professional manner
• Manage crew while maintaining Danella Safety Standards
• Read and understand FPL and Communication designs
• Meet daily production goals
• Effectively communicate with management, crew, customers and subcontractors
• Provide solutions to evolving jobsite conditions and a multitude of jobsite scenarios
• Plan ahead and be prepared to perform daily operations
• Deliver company vehicle and tools to jobsite daily while maintaining an acceptable driving score
• Maintain a high level of production, safety, pride and accountability

Education/Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
• English proficiency a plus
• Proficient operation of excavator and skid steer
• Proficient use of iPad for creation of MVIR, JHA and timesheets
• Ability to communicate effectively by email
• Efficient time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and calmly
• Keen attention to details
