The Golf Course Maintenance Operator plays a vital role in supporting the Assistant Superintendent and Golf Course Superintendent in maintaining the golf course at the highest standards. Responsibilities will vary day to day with standard golf course set up. This role involves reporting daily to the Assistant Superintendent for daily tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for turfgrass management.

Daily tasks may consist of:

• Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment
• Mowing of greens, tees, approaches, fairways, and rough.
• Course clean up using hand blowers, turbine blowers, and sweepers.
• Raking sand bunkers with machine and by hand.
• Using machine edgers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers.
• Hand watering.
• Cleanliness of the equipment and shop.
• Perform any other duties and tasks as required.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather i.e. hot/cold weather and rain
