Massage Therapist
Join Performance Optimal Health as a Massage Therapist. Here at Performance, we take a holistic approach to health and recovery, ultimately striving to empower all clients to live better lives. Each of our clients undergo a unique Optimal Health Assessment, allowing us to tailor their plan of care to their specific needs using a variety of our services. Our services we offer are based upon the Four Pillars of Optimal Health – exercise, nutrition, recovery, and stress management. We have highly trained professionals in all four pillars, who make the clients journey their priority.
With just over 20 years of experience throughout Connecticut and New York, we have successfully launched our first site in Naples, Florida. We are excited to continue growing and building upon our Massage and Wellness Team as a whole. We are seeking an individual with a passion for health and wellness, and a willingness to work within a team of individuals focused on impacting the lives of our clients in a positive way. Our Massage Therapists are expected to provide wellness solutions for our clients. Key Areas of Ownership
- Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Responsible to communicate and transcribe all information regarding client's history and massage therapy services performed.
- Educate clients on how massage can benefit their overall optimal health and make recommendations to engage in other services to benefit their optimal health and to reach their health goals.
- Responsible to communicate with fellow providers to ensure full circle, team approach to wellness and client care.
- Communicate effectively with Wellness Lead
- Tailor all treatment plans to client’s health conditions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Licensed Massage Therapist with accreditation by the Commission on Massage Therapy (COMPTA) or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience (preferred, but not required – we welcome passionate professionals eager to grow!).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and colleagues.
- A growth mindset with a desire to learn, innovate, and be part of a performance-driven team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Willingness to travel between Performance locations as needed.
