Overview

DW Bridges is currently seeking qualified early childhood educators to join the team at Kids In Motion in Coral Springs, Florida. We are hiring for two Lead Teaching roles and invite candidates to apply for the position that best matches their experience and credentials.

All Lead Teachers at Kids In Motion are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional growth. You will work collaboratively with classroom support staff, leadership, and families while maintaining compliance with all licensing and program requirements.

Role Option 1: Lead Teacher – 1-Year-Old Classroom

Pay Range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Primary Focus

Toddler development, classroom routines, and early developmental milestones.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily activities
• Support daily routines, including diapering, feeding, and naps
• Observe and document child development progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Supervise and support assistant teachers
• Communicate professionally with families
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements

Preferred Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• CDA, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• At least one year of toddler classroom experience preferred
• Florida DCF 45-Hour Training completed or willing to complete

Role Option 2: Lead VPK Teacher

Pay Range: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Primary Focus

Kindergarten readiness, structured instruction, and Florida VPK curriculum implementation.

Responsibilities

• Implement Florida VPK curriculum and daily instructional lessons
• Support school readiness, literacy, and early math development
• Manage classroom routines and behavior guidance
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Supervise classroom staff
• Communicate regularly with families
• Ensure compliance with DCF and VPK program requirements

Preferred Education & Experience

• Florida DCF 45-Hour Training completed or willing to complete
• Preschool or VPK teaching experience preferred
• Experience with structured curriculum and assessments strongly preferred

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Level II background screening
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to sit on the floor, bend, stand, and actively supervise children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
