Compensation & Schedule

• $20.42 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

• 9-month contract (potential to convert to full-time employment)

ROLE IMPACT

This position supports the client’s mortgage operations by managing, tracking, and maintaining critical loan documentation. The Mortgage Document Specialist ensures the accuracy and completeness of collateral files, supporting smooth loan processing, funding, and compliance activities. Success in this role is measured by attention to detail, document accuracy, and timely workflow execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process, verify, and control incoming and outgoing mortgage loan collateral documents

• Maintain detailed records of loan shipments, receipts, and inventory

• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve document discrepancies or exceptions

• Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate collateral documentation

• Contribute to process improvements and data quality initiatives within the warehouse lending team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ year of prior experience with mortgage loan operations or document control

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general computer systems

• Ability to work onsite daily in Orlando, FL

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience in mortgage, warehouse lending, or banking environments

• Knowledge of collateral or custodial documentation processes

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
