CNA/HHA - Deland, Deltona, Orange City Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia, a nationwide senior care company, is seeking qualified candidates in the Central Volusia County area. We provide one-on-one care for seniors in their home or wherever they call home, to perform services that are needed, allowing them to age in place with dignity and grace. Compensation and Benefits: * Weekly Pay * Direct Deposit * Flexible Working Hours * Complimentary vision/dental for full time employees * Other supplemental insurance * Compensation: $15 - $16 * Worker's compensation

Complementary CEUs/training Personal Care Responsibilities: * Help clients with daily activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, serving meals, helping clients eat, turning clients and ambulating clients * Take vital signs * Examine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds * Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members * Provide and empty bedpans * Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc. * Clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheets * Stay up-to-date on training, policies and procedures Requirements: * 21 years or older with a High school diploma or GED * Completion of a state-approved CNA or HHA certification training course * Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification or BLS (CPR and AED) * HIV/AIDs course completion (HHA only) * Level 2 background check on file or the ability to pass one * Ability to think and work independently and with direction * Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality Weekly schedule:

Weekend availability (preferred)
Rotating weekends
Day shifts
Night shifts (preferred)
Overnights
