We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations, ensuring that meals are prepared to perfection and served promptly. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality presentation and service.
- Uphold standards of fine dining service while preparing meals for guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in culinary roles, particularly as a Line Cook or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices.
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is advantageous.
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is preferred.
- Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices within the kitchen environment.
- Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
