PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER (Infants,2's and 3's year old class)

As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in molding the educational journey of our youngest learners, ranging from 6 weeks old to 12, 24, and 36 months. Duties As a Lead Teacher at Aquarelle Kids Academy, your primary duties will include:
- Planning and executing age-appropriate educational and developmental activities for Infants and children aged 24 to 36 months.
 - Creating a safe, stimulating, and enriching learning environment that fosters the growth and development of each child.
 - Designing and following a curriculum focused on the comprehensive development of children, including cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development areas.
 - Providing guidance and support to classroom teaching staff and assistants to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and individualized child care.
 - Collaborating with parents and guardians to maintain open and constructive communication about children's progress and needs.
 - Regularly assessing children's progress and using results to adapt and enhance educational practices.
 - Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
 - Maintaining accurate and complete records of attendance, progress, and development of children, as well as any relevant classroom incidents.
 
- A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
 - Previous experience working with children aged 24 to 36 months in an educational setting.
 - Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and guardians.
 - Demonstrated passion for and commitment to early childhood education, with a genuine love for teaching and nurturing young children.
 - Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of children.
 - Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity in lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
 - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
 - Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of early childhood education.
 - CDA Preferred
 - FL DCF 45 hours highly preferred or willingness to complete within 90 days of employment
 
- Previous experience in early learning programs, extracurricular programs, or activities related to child development.
 - Additional certifications in early childhood education or related professional development courses.
 - Previous experience working with children from diverse cultures or communities.
 - Additional skills in using educational technology or digital learning applications.
 - Active participation in community activities or volunteering related to early childhood education.
 - Ability to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve educational practices.
 - Experience in implementing educational enrichment programs or activities such as arts, music, or sports.
 - Basic knowledge of first aid for emergency situations.
 - Experience in teaching social, emotional, and problem-solving skills to young children.
